Anti-recessionary management or how to not get in bad situations

I not for long thought, what article from a series anti-recessionary, crisis and a post of crisis management, it is necessary to write first. For me in this choice a primary factor became aspiration to rescue the one who else collects "to sink". Perhaps my advices will help to not run into heave frost of cataclysms and shocks to some companies. And, perhaps, I will manage to save in result ten, other jobs. As to help sinking, it is necessary to know, and as they roll what not always simply to make. And those who already starts to come up (a post crisis management) can already consult and without my help. I brief the aforesaid, in this article I want to inform with you the reasons about a volume, that it is necessary to do to not get in the crisis phenomena, or to experience them with smaller shocks and losses.

I shall base to three articles about stable states of system, about social function and about definition of crisis state. One of the important concepts for us should be the average significance of a level of competence of management of any human community, a level of knowledge and probability of achievement of the purpose. About these things fundamental, in my opinion, I already repeatedly mentioned. Therefore, I shall simply operate with them, from the point of view of problem definition and definition of the purposes.

So, as always, for the best fathoming of a material, I have drawn some figure which is representing essence of occuring processes on the verge of a crisis situation and as we come to this state. It in many respects is similar to the diagram the presented article about essence of the crisis phenomena.

But it only in our opinion. Actually there are certain external processes, which to us as to professional managers complicate life. In a case with my motor-works it can be and intrigues of competitors which unscrupulously reduce the price for production. Or it is even more interesting, for example, decrease of customs duties on import automobiles. Now not essence of an affair, what processes, it is important to fathom, that for me as factory managers « my name », indeterminate form (or complexity) achievements of the purpose under effect of external factors grows. Naturally, I can influence any factors, and on any was not present.

But, under pressure external factors, I NOTICE, at me internal destructive processes on some production phases begin. It only while separate signals. However for a survival it is required to us, that the average level of competence of production management has not passed dangerous feature of competence of branch.

There is one more factor which is dangerous to me as chief of large production is a conservatism of human thinking. This natural desire of the majority of people during their career to decide typical enough PROBLEMS. But we already saw on the basis of my reasonings concerning the reasons of the crisis phenomena, that PROBLEMS remove in the category of the purposes and that can be worse, become problems.

That to my production of automobiles to not get in such difficult state, I as the wise chief, am compelled to invest constantly a part arrived to evolution of knowledge and to control a level of competence of the employees even on key posts of production.

Naturally, from the point of view of economy, the sharing is more common than the earned cake sometimes it appears a uneasy problem as for the company there are some competitive processes and all of them are vital for without problem operation and evolution of firm. But about it we shall talk somehow another time and in other article.

So, it were theoretical preconditions which main thesis is maintaining at the given level of the average competence of the company. Now let's the same argue on practice. So that it is necessary to do to not get in bad situations.

First of all, it is necessary to answer to itself a question, and whether there is in my company a corresponding service which primary goal is monitoring "competent" state of firm and the warning of possible crises. Stop. It not idlers. The mankind has huge class-room of such "idlers", army for example or police forces, and still fire-fighting crews. And this fact of us does not confuse, that we spend a part of the earned money for these socially important services. And a parameter of their good work is just their inactivity (I have localization of extraordinary situations, instead of their warning in a kind), rather the reverse. Certainly, theoretically, it is possible to assume creation of an anti-recessionary service at a level of the state, but for this purpose it is necessary to make pellucid activity of all state or other human formations. Otherwise there is no sense. And in sense of the separate taken enterprise why to not commission such tool.

The following moment, increase of a level of competence of employees on key command points. As are frequently carried out instruction and trainings, whether employees manifest such initiative. Naturally, I as the chief of motor-works « my name » cannot follow all. But, how frequently where also in that my company studies, I will not have problems.

Important aspect - personnel selection. As far as work of a principle of Peter is traced. « Each individual at growth on a hierarchy grows up to the level of competence ». Or the level of competence builds up the employee. In the article about definition of a crisis situation I instanced on this theme. On what principles in my company necessary rotation of the staff how the set of new employees is defined is realized, on the basis of what criteria expansion of staffs is realized. The prominent aspect, frequently non-conformity of levels of competence results in ungrounded growth of number of employees.

Now about my favourite theme of automation of the companies. Here I have already passed fire and water, I hope, that copper pipes not far off. It is necessary to speak generally not about automation as such, and about introduction of perspectiv technologies as a whole. Besides and in these processes the golden mean is important. In one of articles I instanced from life when result introduction SAP R/3 on one production became the seal of waybills in one of shops. Whether so it was necessary to spend huge money for such unpretentious problem. It is valid, shooting from a gun on sparrows.

Besides we are refunded to a parameter of a level of competence of management. If I know a level of knowledge and experience of my managers, and to me offer to insert some progressive technologies, I can evaluate to what it will result. Whether for my managers additional time for a superfluous cup of tea (that not always poorly) will appear, whether will really increase crisis stability of the company at the expense of increase of speed of receiving operating analysts.
